Taking the bumper off is a piece of cake. It takes about 10 mins to take it off, and less to put it back on. Check the DIY section - there are probably several install threads for intakes. If removing the front bumber is necessary there's a DIY for that, too - search for screen DIYs for bumper removal.
DIY = much greater enjoyment anyway.
Good luck!

mind you, I have never done this personally, BUT I'm a firm believer in instructions (I.E. if you have them, it will work in the end...). After all, I did do an engine swap on my POS V6 convertible Mustang (1984 model) without any help, or much of a clue... just had a haynes book and will... (engine died on me at a bad time...). Took me a month, but thats what happens when you are juggling highschool, and some heavy work hours, and trying to get your car on the road again...
lol grungepup... guess if VS8 wants to make a meet thing, its on him. saturday morning is bad, as i should be getting my donor-cycle license in the morning, but the rest of the weekend is good for me.
PS- watch out for the old people backing up in gas stations... old bastard in a chevy messed my baby up
