I didn't see on here how it happened?
Simple. Wet road, fast turn, huge chevy cutting the the center divider line a bit. The truck was so beat up it was hard to tell where the damage was. End of story.

Yes it is. Look in the Gulf forum for the Austin Driveway thread. Those are his track wheels in that pic.

Yeah...I didn't have enough respect for the road conditions...pushed it a little too far and paid the price. It happened the only it way it could have happened with nobody being injured. It was my fault...the report noted the accident as having "circumstances beyond driver control".

9k, Pup and Cornholio were an absolute blessing that day!

The track is a much better place to push your vehicle. I will post a few links to some track vids after I get them uploaded to the video server.

Here are a couple of links to videos from the most recent track day...

The first video is a 4 lap traffic-free grouping from the middle of the first session. Please forgive the camera as it starts to rotate about it's mount...i failed to lock it down completely.

http://www.4shared.com/file/13153475...0_Excerpt.html

The second one is a multi-lap sequence (warm up lap and several hot laps) from the second session taken by the wife in the pit area. It is always good to have external videos whenever possible.

I didn't letter-box the videos so when you view them from the webpage they will be horizontally squashed...if you download them you can see them in original widescreen format.
