Well the Yellow 8 went to Jordan Ford today (we bought it off their used lot) the AC compressor cuts off/on. They are sending it to Legend Mazda for repairs. Good thing it came with a 3 mon/3k mile warranty with a $100 deductible...

they gave us a snazzy Focus rent a car...

Hey I got my 8 from Jordan Ford also. My navigation cd dont work though, it says "cant read disc" and they just ignored my ***.

Legend Mazda replaced the AC Amplifier... cost to Jordan Ford-$750.00

 

All of their used cars come with a 3mon/3kmile warranty... they sent my wife's 8 to Legend Mazda for repairs. There is a $100 deductible but that is cheaper than what the actual repair would cost...

FYI: There is a guy selling hawk Ceramic pads for the front for $70.00 on craigslist. I just put Hawk pads on and paid like $85.00.

The service man was laughing because he told me it was expensive to fix my air conditioner. I asked how much, and was told close to $780.00...
I am glad it has a warranty is all I can say.I should have her back by tomorrow evening..Hopefully see everybody at Biffs Friday!!

 

im way past the 3 month 3000 mile warranty, im stationed in ft hood and i drive back to san antonio every weekend. i think they just gave me the wrong navigation disc but i haven't been able to find someone with navigation on their 8 to lend me their dvd to see if its just my disc or system. Hey have u guys ever heard of a short ram mazdaspeed intake? You think it would be any good?

jzamarippa, i have navigation in my rx8, but im down in weslaco/mcallen (middle of nowhere rio grand valley) but I'm coming up around the 15th of August and hoping to hit a meet with you fellow rx8 owners. If you haven't resolved your problem with your navi, I'd be happy to lend you my disc
