im getting mine done at benson honda. the guy thats doing it is hooking it up cause he's a friend of one of my friends that works there. he does all the work on my friends s2000 so it should come out good.

I am certainly protective of my baby...no denying that! Tell you what...

After a couple of GTGs and I get to know each of you guys a little better I may be a bit less apprehensive...

Plus this will give me a chance to break in the new shifter (it's still a little notchy) and figure out whether or not I like the CDV modification (this mod removed the tranny's protection from sudden clutch dumping).

I am still trying to get a feel for it myself and would hate for there to be a clutch/tranny issue on someone else's watch. That would totally suck!

Ok guys I guess Im the first one back. The meet was huge, but there were a couple of 8's that were too cool for us. Ahem, yellow with a hood scoop. Grunge liked that scoop so much I thought he was gonna jack it!

Then a black with Lambo doors and neons showed up and parked with some other cars but he was cool kid and his car was pretty clean looking but it was an auto and we all know only flamers drive autos!! Just kidding guys!!!

The cops made everyone leave and then camped out on 1604 waiting for dumbasses (the VW's behind me) to act a fool getting on the ramp and then pulled their asses over. All in all it was a good meet but it was cut short so i didn't get many pics.

Hands down Kevo's M coupe was the hardest car in our group. his car definately solidified my next purchase. Great to meet you Kevo, and I'll see you guys next time!

 

You're not kidding! Holy crap! I didn't expect that many cars at all...and of so many different marques. Definitely worth the trip to check it out and meet all you guys.

Glad you liked the M...I am definitely the odd man out of the group for sure...not being of pure rotor blood and all. Cool to be seen as one of the guys!

Now we just need to work out the details for the V-day run. That will be a blast!

i think my sisters boyfriend is related to the owner of that 8, i've always wanted to see it in person just to giggle at it

 

I must admit the neons and the lambos are a bit much and it is an auto but it looks clean. The 20's are good for being show stoppa. Overall I like the look I must say.

 

I agree...didn't look bad at all. kinda cool really (neons not withstanding)...don't know if I could live with it as a daily driver week in week out though.

 

Just a warning, this place is targeted by LE to put it to an end. Got info that the cops will be all over this again. The property owner put up signs about no after hours parking. This is what happens when idiots get involved.....

 

So what are they going to do give us parking tickets?

well the meet will show up again in few weeks...this is 4th or 5th time we have had change of venue

 

dude this is like to 20th time it has changed, the old best buy meets at san pedro were by far the biggest and the best, give it a month and a new location will arise

 

Any info on a new location?
