San Antonio - Autocross this Sunday Sept. 21
Yet another shameless plug for the local autocross club SASCA (San Antonio Sports Car Association).
This might be the last autocross of the year so try to make it out to the Alamodome back parking lot on Sunday. For details www.conehunter.com
You can just come out to watch if you want. Sign the waiver, put on a helmet and you can get rides with some excellent drivers.
I'm driving the blue 85 RX-7. Come on out!

Austin, too
If Austin is closer to your neck of the woods, check out the Spokes event on Sunday. www.spokes.org

We run rain or shine. Running in the rain is very educational and fun! If it's raining and you don't want to bring your 8 out, bring a different car and an umbrella. Make sure you get a ride with someone around the course. It'll be worth your time.

Yes, it seems that every autocross club in Texas is running this Sunday. Actually, I think that is a good thing.

I know you may not get this in time... Can you give me directions from 37. I've never actually been down to the Alamo dome & I'm sure there is more than one parking area...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Here is a map of the Alamodome. The autocross is in the yellow parking lots.

Heading north on 37 from Hwy 90 get off on Durango and make a right, go over the hill, make a left at the light (Cherry St.).
I won't be able to make it tomorrow, have to work. Seek out Ed, he drives the black 90 GTu RX-7. Get a ride with him, he is a really nice guy and an excellent driver.
The next event is a rallye (more like a nice drive on back roads) which is tentatively scheduled for October. It should be fun but not an adrenaline rush!
