RX-7/RX-8 BBQ In New Orleans Wesjbank Area - April 1st 2007
Hello All,
I am going to have a BBQ at my home in Marrero on April 1st for any RX owner who is interested, All I ask is that you RSVP me so that there is enough food for everyone. The event is also being sponsored by Ducote Mazda.
This came about after several RX owners expressed an interest to get together. BIW, this is a family event so please let me know if you are also bringing significant others.
My house is easy to get to and I will email you the address once you have contacted me. The event is slated for April 1st, and begins @ 4 PM. I hope to see you there!!!

I just found out Mazda will also be sending us some freebie give aways. Don't expect anything "big" however.
I am beginning to wonder if anyone really wants to do this however. So far I only have had one person contact me and that has been Monique. If I don't hear from more people, I will assume no one is interested and I will call it off.

Ya know I'm there! Ted hasn't responded to my email yet. I think I'll give him a call this weekend. Alex from Nurburgring may try to come, I'll let you know later. Umm... I see John (skwidd) responded. Tony (mrtoeknee) is going to try to make it casanova *check* I see above. I'll spread the word and see where we get...

Hey MIKE thanks for the invite. Once you have an accurate count please let us know if you need us to bring anything. I put the word out to the 7's on the Shore crew and I'm sure many of us will make it out.

No, I didn't give out any info. I just posted links and PM's here so everyone would get the info and your email addy. There are a few on the RX7Club.com saying they'll be there. Have they been emailing you? I'll get with Ted to be sure everyone knows to get in touch with you. They may share info so I'll be sure they know you need a head count.
All-
At this point I think that all Mike asks is that you all RSVP and bring your own chairs. Feel free to bring a covered dish, dessert, etc. Just let Mike know. I'll be bringing potato salad and baked beans. Maybe when it gets a little closer to the date we can delegate some items to those offering so we can help Mike out. Ice, plates, cups, drinks, etc.
Glad to see everyone trying to make it out! I can't wait to meet you all.

I'm looking at the title of this thread and i'm a little confused. Wheres the "Wesjbank". lol It took me a few days to realize that it was misspelled. Don't worry, I can't spell either.
