RP/AFE short throw shifter installed

If you were considering this part and have the $250 to spend, get it.
I installed mine in about 45 minutes once I had the right tools here (it's a funny read in the lounge if you want). If anyone needs help with the install or wants to try before they buy, let me know.

You will not be disappointed.

jenkins-crew 04-19-2005 07:24 AM

where did yall order your shifters from?

dazygirl415 04-19-2005 09:21 AM

Richard Paul's website. I'll see if I have the link.

Mr. Ed's rx-8 04-19-2005 09:29 AM

you need to save that $250 for the alarm Jenkins!

jenkins-crew 04-19-2005 09:38 AM

so that's how much the alarm is, you never told me :D

Did you get it and all the components?

I found the link: www.axialflow.com

Mr. Ed's rx-8 04-19-2005 04:56 PM

yeah around that. it was around $500 brand new.

Mr. Ed's rx-8 04-19-2005 04:59 PM

do you have someone that know how to install it?

jenkins-crew 04-20-2005 06:51 AM

Ordered my shifter yesterday.

dazygirl415 04-20-2005 08:16 AM

:D Mine came in Monday. Wanna have an install party before we leave?

jenkins-crew 04-20-2005 09:02 AM

Sure, when do you want to do it?

dazygirl415 04-20-2005 09:14 AM

After you get off. :D

Ajax 04-20-2005 02:13 PM

The install literally takes between 10 and 30 minutes. 10mm long socket is absolutely crucial.
It's a snap.

jenkins-crew 04-20-2005 02:29 PM

Today or friday?

dazygirl415 04-20-2005 03:47 PM

Ooooh.... tough decision. I'm going to go with.... Friday. This way Martin can have her full attention. :D

jenkins-crew 04-20-2005 04:13 PM

OK, I will call you when I get off.

dazygirl415 04-20-2005 09:58 PM

Sounds good. Oh and now I have something to compare the new shifter to. :D
