Pre-mix in San Antonio for local pickup/purchase
Long story short, I am near the end of my warranty on engines, and getting a free warranty replacement very soon. Are there any shops in San Antonio that sell Idemitsu premix here or should I just order it online? Also, what would you S.A. natives recommend for conventional oil weights? I'm pretty sure the 5w-20 has contributed to my RX8 getting 2nd heart-transplant... I was thinking 10w-30 in the summers, and 5w-30 for the 2 months it's cold here in Texas...

I've been running this stuff for awhile in the FD (If you're still running the OMP use 1ounce per 4gal gas, double it up for hard/track driving), can pick it up at Oreillys...

10w30 is fine unless the car is parked outside during winter, then maybe go lighter. Turbo rotary... 15w-50. I like Mobile 1 synthetic.

Any good JASO FC or FD rated 2 stroke will work just fine TCW3 rated 2 stroke is not advisable for cars with catalytic converters. Idemitsu (exceeds JASO FD supposedly but not rated) is okay but kind of a pain to get if you use a lot (I do in my SOHN and tank) but for conservative premixing a case should last you a while.
The Lucas stuff is great, I am using a generic synthetic 2 stroke I found at Academy for 12.99 a gallon. It is TCW3 rated but I don't have a cat so......................
