I decided to try to come to the meet on Saturday w/ my gf. We drove down Memorial (in Tulsa) all the way to 21st St. and didn't see anyone but a couple of rice mobiles. Maybe I missed you guys.. It was at about 9:30pm, what time do you guys normally meet?

 

I was up there from about 8 to 9:45. I 2nd and 5th gear syncros started grinding. I took it into the dealer today. They are trying to say it is my new clutch. I think if it was the clutch it would grind all gears not just 2 and 5. It goes in at low rev but anything over 3500 and forget, it down into 2 is even worse. Sorry I wasn't able to stay longer.

 

Does anyone here drive an rx8 with the license plate "tunitup" ?

I've had my 8 for nearly a year but haven't had any real luck finding a group of 8-ers to get together!!! hmmmm....where r they ??????

 

I've been trying to organize a meet, but it just doesn't seem to happen, maybe w/ summer winding down we can get a meet together

 

I live in Norman now (going to school) but if someone ever decides to get a meet together and has a definite time and place then I will be there! So count me in In my opinion the meet should either take place here, or in Tulsa, or in OKC (lots of 8s there and here). So whatever the general consensus is.. but ya. Someone needs to get a meet together!

 

I would be interested if it is in the OKC metro... I never can seem to make it to anything, though.

 

Well I know for a fact that I'm going out to Thunder Valley Friday night (9/26) You guys should join me!!! Also, is there a winning blue RX8 that works at Buffalo Wild Wings, or who was there today at lunch w/ an Rx8club.com sticker on the driver back window, w/ clear corners cuz I saw you today, altho I wasn't in my car! Just wondering who it was!

and so where do you guys meet on memorial in Tulsa usually? I work at Primeaux KIA by the Best Buy OJsRX8 works at, and get out by 8 pm on friday and sat. I'll cruise it tonight and see if I spot some 8's.

hey I saw a two tone WB/grey rx8 since about 2 or 3 years ago in broken arrow quite often. I don't know how you were going to paint or vinyl it, but... it looked sweet, that's for sure.

 

Hey everyone! i'm the FNG to this site. I'm from the Tulsa area around woodland hills mall and roll in a dark green rx8 with a carbon fiber vented hood. stock wheels and greddy exhaust. ( currently anyway ). i'm down for hangin out or going for a drive if anyone puts something together. right now i'm currently in Iraq (U.S. Army) but will be home some time in early november. anyone see's me, feel free to say hi. Went to Import Faceoff at Noble. Got beat out by a tricked out 3rd Gen. He way deserved it, alot more money in his engine than my car.

I'm up for a meet as well in the OKC area, after i get it back from the shop after the $3000 hail damage repair! Hope to get it this weekend.
