I live near and "roll" in Tulsa with my 8.... I see 8's in tulsa quite a bit (seems like they are getting more common...) GRR haha I was thinking about starting an RX8 Club in Tulsa.. Maybe see what the interest level is...

Actually its a Central or "Midwest" state I think.. But who cares.. its right in the middle so it can go either way =)

 

Deffinitly need to get ppl rounded up in tulsa..me and dgerald have met and are very interested in helping for a local club for tulsa, pm me if your serious and maybe we can meet up sometime and discuss what we can all do together.

oh and i'm deffinitly going to the bbq, so far me and dgerald are caravaning down...need more support from tulsa!

 

Have you guys contacted David Lee? He's the main POC for RX7s in Tulsa. He's caravaning to the BBQ too.

 

i've been in contact with him..i'll look up his email again, haven't heard from him in a while.

 

I agree with that.. I've seen lots of 8's in Tulsa, I would think there might be good group if we got the word out.

I'm thinking, "T-Town RX8 Club"....


How far is the trip down there... Any "guess-stimates??

Several of us made the trip from the Dallas area up to Tulsa back in May for their BBQ and it took us between 3 1/2 & 4 hours to get there. Not a bad drive at all.

I'm driving over to the Quad State BBQ from northeast Louisiana and it will take me roughly that same amount of time to get to DFW. I'm pumped about it!!! :D

 

4 hours or so, pm me your email or number and me/you/dgerald can meet each other sometime before the bbq in september.
i was in tulsa yesterday, saw a white 8 in parking lot near big lots on E 71st. how do i get flyers for the bbq?? i could have put one on her car...i say her cause looked like beanie baby in the rear view mirror??

Hey, I'm a new 8 owner in South OKC (Moore) I'd love to be in the mailing group and do some meets, preferably meets with some sort of track time involved

 

Two spotted on a little cruise around town tonight. One of the new blues at shell on lindsey (we exchanged 'nice car' compliments and I told him about rx8club).

Saw a red with Tinker AFB stickers at perfect swing. Man, their arcade is pitiful but they have a fun service road...

 

HAHA.. Wow, this thread lives!! I'm back in action up here in Tulsa.. Thinking about starting a RX8 CLUB in Tulsa if there isn't one already.. There's a ton of 8's in Tulsa if we could just get the word out...
