Well I am new to the whole Rotary/Car club scene, so I dont really know anybody. I am hoping to meet a bunch of us at the BBQ. Hopefully there will be a bunch of people from OKC there!!
I was just told of a great place to drive in OK, its call the Talimena Scenic Drive

it looks really nice, I am thinking I might go try it in a couple of weeks. Have you been there??

I am another 7 driver and I'll be at the bbq too. Last year there was about 5 cars from OKC that went, that I can remember. Count me in if you guys want to get something going in OKC also.

There was only 3 of us last year from OKC at the BBQ. Two 8's and one 7. There use to be a group of us, but one guy moved, and the other 2 main guys sold there 8's. I think the most we ever had at one meet was 6 or 7 cars. It was always to hard to get everyone together even when I gave a months notice. SO I kind of just gave up on putting things together.

Well sounds like we have something going. I know of a couple 2nd and 3rd gens. I am building one of the 3rd gen motors right now.
Let figure something out on a place and time and get a gathering.

Ya I remember the 3 of us going my 7 and the 2 rx-8s, but I was thinking there was a black FC turbo and a red FD from midwest city area that made it there too. I am changing to working swings starting this upcoming week , but almost any weekend is good for me.

Went with my first choice, Racing Beat. It was a toss-up between that and the new MS Sport. I just wanted something a bit deeper/more agressive without the popping exausts like borla have, or droning the MS kit has.
I've got to go down to norman to pick up/install it and I also need to take my MS front off and re-align it.. If I finish in time I'll be showing up.
Next on the list is Tint and Sideskirts to complete the look and if I can afford it, rims.
