Hi People,
Never thought about checking for regional groups before. Duh!! First off my user name is LakeRay. Why? I live on the south side of Lake Hefner. West of Portland, north of 63rd. In fact looking at the photos of the meet you had in February you weren’t 5 blocks from my house! I bought a Velocity Red w/Touring Package and a 6spd. I was able to get the car because we’re economizing. Looked at the Z4, 350Z, the new Mustang and the Audi TT. But none of them attracted me like the RX-8. I’ve got the oil cooler screens and the other one but I haven’t had time to put them on yet. My oldest daughter is getting married end of May. And I’m looking for a new job. I’ll put up a pic as soon as I can get one.
I’ll start to keep a watch out for more messages from this group.

Welcome to the club!! I also chose the RX8 after looking at the 350z and the Mustang. I just fell in love with the design and the four-doors helped since I have a 7 year old. Congrats on getting your daughter married off. Good luck on the job hunting up there.

Welcome aboard! Make sure you send a private message to either USAF_RX8 or Jump120MPH and give them your email address so you'll be added to the OKC RX Club mailing list. They've been trying to get another meet organized but schedules and weather have been a challenge.

I am from the OKC area. Welcome aboard... I too am a new RX-8 owner (about 2 weeks now) and have enjoyed it a lot.
