a WB 8 with appearance package and stock rims if i remember. I was going the opposite way in my Ti grey. His spoiler was pretty different, ive seen it somewhere on the club. the ends stick up at a 45 degree angle.

we were both driving like a bat outta hell. it was on davis in between NRH and southlake near discount tire.

 

I've been spotting a lot of jackassery involving Rx-8's lately while driving around in my stealthy oldsmoblazer:

a while back at woodward and ben white (290?) there is a turn lane heading east that is only one lane, a lot of ******** like to get in the lane next to it and cut everyone off at the light making an illegal left run, guy in a silver rx-8 did that and then cut everyone off again getting onto 290 on the feeder road, I guess I missed the meeting where he had precedent over normal traffic or something. (ugh)

this evening on wm. cannon I see a blue one and I'm stoked as I'm thinking "maybe I'll get a chance to meet a fellow owner at the light"...pffft..no, homedude hauls *** to get behind me, I get over and he blows past me only to slam on his brakes at the traffic stopped at the light ahead, after witnessing dipshit driving like a tool I passed on trying to talk to him.

yellow one on oltorf about a month ago, nice car, had some decent looking wheels on it, but it was like he was trying to show off or something, also seemed like he was trying to egg me on a bit at the light, I found it kinda' funny actually knowing what my other vehicle is but whatever, seemed a bit silly when you're in a mostly stock car with rims as your only mod etc.

anyway, sorry for the derail, hope I don't look like these people when I'm driving my 8 around, if so, I'm definitely due for some driving habit adjustments, although, I would never in a million years make an illegal turn like the one I mentioned nor cut people off etc., that's just unacceptable regardless of vehicle, I am guilty of tailgating but it's usually only for a few seconds as it is caused by me doing about 5-10 over in the left lane and then some jackass will creep over right at the last minute going 10 under causing me to almost wind up sitting shotgun in their car. Is driving sensibly really that difficult? or? one of life's great mysteries I guess

 

It's so weird, but I always to try 'wave' or throw 'peace' signs at any '8 drivers I see. Mostly I get ignored or they'll look at me like "who the f*ck are you?". I just got a motorcycle and always get the 'peace' or 'wave' from them.

I haven't been on here in forever! Yep that was me and yes I do work there haha! Hopefully the car wasn't too dirty when you saw it. Unfortunately some of my LEDs burned out so I look retarded during any late night driving. Just waiting for V-LEDs to replace their stock

I'm at at Rice University, but I'm graduating in a few hours and then moving off to Seattle, so it's kinda pointless saying that It's too bad I didn't make any of the Houston meets, though.

Yeah I remember seeing you at Rice once. I was with some friends at the Chocolate bar friday night and when we went outside there were fireworks over by Rice and everyone was asking what it was for, and since I was the only Rice graduate in the group I explained to them that Rice has fireworks for each graduation class the friday before graduation

Saw a white 8 with blacked out tailights and paper plates on Cooper St. and I30 in Arlington. Also so a 40th anniversary on the road that goes through DFW airport and you pay $2. This is all yesterday afternoon/night.
