No, I posted in that thread that my camera died because it was full of like 14 hours of state meet footage. I can post all of it if you like but most of it is just getting to run. No biggie either way, just decided I didn't want to fool with at the because I was so pissed at myself.

Is anyone want to get together Sat evening before the cruise to have a couple of drinks and hang out? I'm should be in town by 9ish. Jbritt from Okc may be coming down Sat as well. If every one is busy that's cool. I always have S4 to fill an evening.

I'll prob. be down for that. Kelly and I live in Addison (where all the young, well off people spend way too much money on drinks and sushi)

Why didn't you just take it to them directly? Seems like being without a car all week would suck...

Some of us like to try to fix the problems ourselves.

*Shrug* Risk VS Reward my friend, I just did my struts and knew when to call it quits, and I sure as hell know that if left to my own devices I would sure screw something up related to the engine.

Besides, if he's calling in Mr. Woods he's not fixing it himself now is he

I know you're all about 'efficiency', but some people like the reward of taking some risk. While I'm not saying he's not going to work on it, but it sure helps to have someone around to guide you. My car has also done some weird things to me in the past, but I really rather figure it out myself than give a dealership ANY money.

For instance, when my water pump bearing was shot I called the dealership and told them what I thought it was (I said water pump bearing) I even took it by for a 'free listen' they told me throwout bearing, even though depressing the clutch didn't change anything.... long story short, I paid $97 for the water pump and enjoyed a nice march day instead of paying $99 for some mech. to tear my **** apart and then charge $300 for the water pump.

I'm with Brandon on this one. Did I just say that>!?!!

he also has an eff ton of engine mods like the BHR ignition and the water pump and such that the dealer will blame for his problems. he said he'd rather avoid that if he can

Well to be fair my risk vs reward calculations are a bit different than Brandons being that I dont really have any back ups to get to work if my car doesnt work. My car NEEDs to work and be working or its costing me. I'm not saying I dont agree with you, just that would scare the crap out of me given my situation.
