no but they agreed to send me another set with a return label for these. they are supposed to be powder coated and it looks like they packed them before they "cured"

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this here but before i make my own thread i thought i'd ask. my gf's mazda 3 is in desperate need for springs and struts. buying them is enough, i'd like to save the $300-400 by installing them myself. I installed konis on my 8, but by that i mean i watched my brother-in-law do it! if anyone with a lot of experience is interested in the coming weeks/months to help out...i'd of course treat to all-you-can-drink cheap beer and pizza!

where abouts are you guys? spread over the city? i'm not very familiar w/ sa other than the airport area and riverwalk. is it really spread out a la houston?

 

lol u gotta ask 9k or grungepup on that, i dont know the city very well. i am on northeast side, (closest to heading to austin/new braunfels location-wise). 9k and grunge are roomies and they live northwest side, we are all kinda scattered but not terribly far. it takes me like 20 min to drive to them when there is no traffic.

 

oh ok, that helps. north-side is better than south-side as far as proximity to austin!!

in 20 minutes you'd drive through austin twice, lulz

 

lol my second job is at a ballet studio in new braunfels so i drive there after work every day, its like 20 min or so to get there. we can always work it out that you guys drive to mine since my place is closest then we can all drive to 9k's and grunges that way you dont have to worry bout getting lost or anything. whatever you guys want, no worries
the boys are goin to vegas in like 2 weeks for the vegas meet, so get with them bout scheduling and i will do everything i can to make u guys comfie

 

the guys know i can appreciate that, i bring cella to everything, and if its something i cant bring her to then i dont go, or i go for a portion and bounce when things are no longer kid appropriate.
