yeah, i got some very ignorant friends..a i did a bit of home fender rolling with a hammer yesterday and it helped a little..lol..also one of them said 2 get harder spring so it wont be as bouncy when i drive
you need new friends.
be careful with the home fender rolling, it helps to heat the fenders when hammering on them so you don't crack the paint.
do you have stock suspension?
how many miles on your car?
you really need to figure out the offset to your wheels so we can figure out if you just have too wide of tires for an aggressive wheel. Usually if you take the wheel off, the offset is imprinted somewhere on the inside. Offset plays a BIG role in fitment.
for example, you're running 18" wheels with 265's and rubbing.
I have 19x10" wide wheels with 275 tires, am lowered on coilovers and do not rub.

we're getting warmer. Sounds like your wheels are 18x___ +35.
do you know how wide they are?
Stock offset for our wheels is +55 (I think) so that's a 20mm difference right there.

what size tires are you running?
lowering the car on a stiffer spring will help depending on the spring rate. It will also help by allowing more camber to be done. With a rolled fender it'll allow more play room for when the tire tucks at full load or when occupied.

when you lower your car - be sure to check your shocks - if one is damaged it could cause more rubbing and possible fender damage. Also, once you've lowered your car be sure to get an alignment.
