oh so i forgot 2 mention that today on the freeway a old school shelby cobra kept trying 2 race me..lol..i dont see how i lost, my 200hp could have easily beat his 500+ :P

Please donate ($US) before you eat, do not bring food or drinks unless we ask for anyone to bring food. We will have food and drinks set up, all you need to do is donate to the amount that you will be eating.

This bbq will be hosted by Me(Thanh), Ormand, Viet, Buddha and friends. Eat some good food, look at the cars, enjoy the scene and people around you. Our meets are friendly and everyone gets along.

PARTICIPANTS: Everyone

PARKING: Park how you want to park, park with your team, car make/model and what not. we have roughly over 50 parking spots in front of the pavilion. It has a very good scenery for taking pictures. show up promptly at noon for the best spots.

ON THE MENU: Burgers, hotdogs, chicken, fajitas, ribs and refreshments + hot chocalate. Burgers will be marinated and topped with bacon while supplies last.

Entertainment: Bring a Football or volleyball. There are volleyball posts, you will need a net in order to play. We also do have electricity, feel free to bring a tv or radio and watch/listen the games or music.

Donations: Myself and a few others will be using a large sum of money to get this started. All we need from you is a small donation. Anywhere from a few bucks or how ever much you choose to eat. Please keep in mind there are plenty other people that will be eating as well. A donation box will be available for contributions.

-If you want to donate before the meet. let me know! I'll try to arrange something.
-Bring out them cameras. PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!

-This is our way of giving back to the scene, please don't ruin it for others!

RULES!!!!
1. NO SPEEDING/REVING/BURNING OUT! There will be security/cops at the park.
2. NO LOUD MUSIC!!!
3. NO ALCOHOL!!!
4. NO GLASS BOTTLES!!!
5. TRASH: all trash in trash cans.
6. EAT/DRINK in your area, clean your area.
7. Simply Put. DONT MESS WITH THE PARK

Rigoherra...this IS Houston...EVERYTHING is a drive. You have an RX8 after all, which I find works best when turned on and moving...fast or not-so-fast...

My "Sally" hit 76,000 miles last week...

My daughter has been having surgeries/chemo/radiation since the summer, which has kept me from attending the Houston meets. I am hopeful that once they do the last chemo and internal radiation the week after Christmas she will be cancer-free and we can all get back to what we used to call "normal." I am going to her house Sunday to HELP her hang Christmas lights on the roof. (She's so independent!) I may try to hit Bear Creek park before going to her place though. I tried to make the meet in West Houston. Living in Katy for the past 20+ years, I thought I could make it...but her schedule dictated otherwise.

Hope to meet some of you soon!

 

people as far as crosby and tomball are coming out too...they are taking like an hour and a half to get to the meet.

 

Hi! I've been lurking on the forums for a while now and I saw this thread and decided to register and post. I live in Houston and I would like to make the meet. Is it available for anyone to go (provided they donate)?

From what he posted, it looks like anyone can show up. I'm sure there will be an rx8 meet pretty quick after Christmas and there is an rx7 meet a couple threads away from this one that is happening next week.

?anyone here know why out of no where my tire scrapes my fender now? its the rear tire and it scared the outside piece of the fender

youre stock height iirc so i have no idea why you would rub.

 

lol, sorry for not giving alot of info, but yeah im stock right now, but maybe since its really wide tires in the rear..i dont have spacers or nothing and they stick out about half inch..but its just one side 2...yeah idk what other kind of info yall need..lol

 

your fender got dented in, something came loose, what are your tire specs...um seriously no idea dude. can u hear it when you drive?
