Official 2007 Oklahoma BBQ Thread - June 2007

OK guys and gals we are having the annual spring BBQ on June 2nd. There has been a change of scenery for this years event. We are moving the event from Tulsa to Oklahoma City for good reasoning. We have acces to the OKC Sheriffs traing Facility for the meet. For those of you who do not know what that is, we have a track to run on.

You will need to register as early as possible to ensure you spot on the track. We would love to have as large of a turn out as possible.

Registration should be up next week.

Stay tuned more to come.

15 views and no one is interested?

You can see past events at www.rotaryrendezvous.com

I am! Sounds like fun. Is it going to be primarily for attendees that want to race their cars? Do you'll have flyers or anything to pass out? Is that also the site where registration will take place?

bluesunlion 03-16-2007 02:39 PM

I'm totally interested.

Plus the fact that OKC is much closer than Tulsa.

Creto 03-16-2007 03:11 PM

I'm interested, however, I will be in San Diego that weekend, so I will not be able to make it.

Rotary Inspired 03-16-2007 08:26 PM

We it will be a gathering showing off your car and getting some time behind the seat if you choose to do so.

Registration will be on the Rotaryrendezvous site.

It will also include lunch. ITs been a big event in the past and we are lookiing to make it bigger.

Yes fliers will go out.

Rotary Inspired 04-12-2007 09:48 AM

OK guys Registration is at www.rotaryrendezvous.com. The date is June 2nd. This year will be a little different. Unfortunately this year will cost but not much. It will be $10 to come. This will include a BBQ lunch and drinks. To run the track it will be $20 for the day and lunch. So in a nut shell:

To attend, eat lunch and hang out all day: $10

To attend eat lunch, and run the track: $20

Register early to ensure a spot on the track.

Could a MOD please sticky this. I need a way to keep track as well.

Thank you,

Brad

Just thought I'd let you guys know I purchased an 8 a couple of weeks ago as well. Its slower than the 3rd gen but its still fun.

BuLL 04-19-2007 02:58 AM

Where is the Sheriff's facility located?

w0rm 04-19-2007 01:17 PM

Fairly certain they're talking about this location: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...06458,0.009978

Looks like it even has a track around the flattop. VERY COOL.

Rotary Inspired 04-19-2007 09:06 PM

No thats not the one. This is the one the PCA and Vette club runs.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...06458,0.009978

Its a bit more challenging.

Rotary Inspired 04-19-2007 09:08 PM

well that didn't work. Look at 36th and air depot. You will see the track.

hotrod90019 04-19-2007 09:20 PM

I think I registered correctly. I'll be there just to hang out.

BuLL 04-20-2007 01:26 AM
