sure i'm up for it.. hero how was the feel of the ride with the shocks and springs? compared to the setup you have now?

i can make out this next Wednesday, i think its about time anyways I finally attend a nice meet with cool people. I don't know too many rotor heads on my area so I'm down for sure, but 9:30 sounds kinda late though considering the fact that the monthly meets usually start early around 6:30. How about 8:00-8:30 next Wednesday the 1st of August?

 

it'll be better for me since it's not that late and the drive there is horrible fo rme lol it's up to everyone else

 

I'm okay with the time change... Once again another person too offer my passenger seat too... I really wasted a quarter tank on that whole "taxi cab" service... Although hearing yalls opinions really made me feel justified in so far what I have done...

 

haha im up for another meet next week as well. A little earlier is fine too. The drive for both legend and I is a little far so earlier would probably be better haha.

Legend: The mazdapseed suspension rides great. steering response, turn in, break dive is improved compared to stock. The koni/s.tech combo i have now is alright with the shocks set on lower stiffness and gets better as i raise the stiffness. The main reason I switched was for the increased drop. I have an old thread up called rotary vs cylinder photoshoot or something that has pics from when the mazdaspeed suspension was on there.

I had to go up there last week to pickup some parts.. Tuesday night at 7pm it took me nearly 1 hr 30 mins to go from Downtown to Louetta. No wrecks, just a big nasty parking lot.

I can come to a meet next Wed. I haven't been to any as of yet because they've been so late, but an 8:00-8:30 time would be perfect for me.

 

ahhex8 I liked the idea as well. Unfortunately, im home with the parents which are against drinking so my place would not be ideal haha.

 

I also live with my parents... I don't really think my parents would care about the drinking, it's just the fact that people would be making noises... As long as everyone leaves at 12 I don't see a problem, but I'm going too need too ask my father first...

 

Im liking this idea more and more haha. We can make these meets install days as well in case there are mods ppl need help installing and whatnot.

 

I'd be down for helping people with installs! Although the only ones I know I could help on are the ones that I've done...

Also, if you want too change the day we meet on, that'd be cool with me... The only reason I chose Wed. is because I know that I'm off that day... Other days I get off at 11 from work ... But I'm still down

 

if i host it that means everyone has to come down to south houston lol.. and i also share with the mom >.<

 

i also have entertainment (xbox 360 with games and tons of other ps2 titles) so i can contribute, but i cant have anybody go to my house, i still live with my mom. Ill also consider being a dd for anyone who might be consuming.

 

Well, I still live at home, but I know a guy who would let us use his place if we gave him a few days warning. I guess put me down as a maybe on the list of available places...?


As for entertainment, I've got everything but the PS3, and plenty of games for each. I'm also a PC gamer, so if we ever decide to have a LAN party I've got CAT5 & routers out the ***.

If you still haven't found a buyer for the MS shocks/springs by our first get together @ Robs, I'll buy them from you and we can make the 1st meet the 1st build meet as well

I say this week we meet at the parking lot to encourage more people to come. I think the 2 or 3 people that didn't come last week would feel a more comfortable meeting everyone for the first time in a public place, rather than a stranger's house...


I'm all for the install party this weekend if HERO's offer on the Springs/shocks still stands.

BTW, if more than 3 car people ever get together around a gaming console, they HAVE TO play Burnout at some point Sorry - thems the rules!

i really don't like burnout series...i'm more of the realistic driving games guy. I have forza motorsports 2 and other 360 titles
