well i went by the dealership yesterday to get a oil change
i asked for full synthetic and they told me that would void the warranty on the car...
weird. does the engine run better with synthetic or reg. oil?

does anyone run full synthetic?

 

non synthetic.. full synthetic gives you bad long term effects

Its been discussed a billion times. People have been running on full synthetic in rotaries for a LONG time with no problems. Depends on the full synthetic oil i guess. If u search u can read about it all for hours haha

 

I use full Synthetic, NO PROBLEMSSS!!!!! Except it feels better =p or so my mind thinks

 

idealistically.. full synthetic can do nothing but benefit our car.. but mazda isn't sure about it themselves and if you don't want to take a risk then try not to use any synthetics that haven't been proven safe on our engine.. honestly i don't think it'll be a problem and also there has been the longest debate over this matter.. if you really want to go synthetic ask people what they've been using and how long... i know there are a lot of synthetic users on this forum.. some also blended their own grade of synethic oil... you can search and find oils such as the r-magic racing energy ^ ^ hope that helped.. but yea.. if you ask the dealer they will tell you what i said before...

oh on my other car, i have Royal Purple in it. its really good too! it kept my engine like 30-40 degrees cooler which i thought was amazing. and it feels alot smoother
