You work in sugar land i assume?? I also work / live in sugar land. Ive got a good friend who lives just north of you, so I frequent this stretch of 59 often...

however you are more likely to see me rocking an 86 crx 5 spd than my gorgeous white GT 8 LOL

We should look into that if we don't already have it.
For this forum, Polak Graphics has a dandy "RX8Club.com" window sticker. For the Houston groupd, dunno, I haven't hooked up yet.

As my profile shows, I'm now a long, long, ways from Houston, and I have another 4 months of exile in Mississippi when I return in May. But I'll be in Houston full-time in the Fall, and I look forward to driving some of these favorites and joining in some Houston club activities.

1/2mv2--Thankx for starting that "favorites" thread. I'll need to sticky it.

Keep up the conversation, Houstonians. The damn Dallasites dominate this sub-forum too much.

Yes I work in Sugarland so I do 80% of my driving on 59. Seriously this lack of curvy roads is starting to make me automotively depressed (yes I just made up a word). I made a wrong turn onto a 30 mph speed limit road last week but it was the most fun I have had in the 8 in Houston because the road was rounded instead of straight with 90-degree angles.
I do like the 8 Drivers in the area so far, in fact one even waved to me yesterday as he drove by on 59. I never witnessed anything like that in the IS300 (probably because the majority of owners of that Lexus are middle aged house-wives...

I was just down in Houston this week, working for BP. I was in the Texas City and Channelview area. The only curvy areas I found were in the Pasadena side streets. My rental car wasn't up to task. It was an Impala.
I was working evenings, otherwise I would have tried to meet up with a few of you.
