Just a note from the newest RX-8 on the Northside. I live in Spring off 45 at 2920. I picked up my new 8 on Feb.25 from Munday Mazda on 1960.... Black w/GT package, and appearance package. Got the limo tint all the way around the next day. Too bad its rained almost everyday since I picked it up.... I'm tired of washing it everyday.

I was hoping to hook up with the local RX-8 club but it looks like you all meet on Tuesday's and thats cub scout night for the little tot. Ah well I'll keep an eye open for other days you all meet.

Enough for now.... so if you see a black 8 running around the northside and the windows are so dark you can't see the driver.....thats me!

p.s. I do semi-pro photography and plan on taking some good pics of my 8 but if have a good place in mind (on the northside) and want me to take some of you and yours drop me a line. If anyone has a good place in mind a few of us could meet up and take the shots.

I PLAN ON DOING 5% ON ALL SIDE WINDOWS AND REAR AND DOING THE WHOLE FRONT WINDSHIELD IN 35%. I'VE DONE IT ON EVERY CAR IVE EVER OWNED AND IT HELPS PRESERVE THE INTERIOR FROM SUN FADE AND I NEVER NEED SUN GLASSES.

on your 5% tint on driver side and passenger side, do you ever have any trouble with inspection or being pulled over with that dark of tint? I have a black 8 with 35% tint on driver and passenger doors and 20% on the back and rear windows but would prefer to go darker, also im curious about putting 35% on the front windsheild. How does that look?

Inspection trick I've always used. It works most of the time. When you go in have all your windows down and most of the time they don't take to time to roll them up. Good Luck.
