Unhappy New Car & Dallas Weather

Got my new 8 last Saturday - and I haven't seen the sun since!

And look at the forcast for Dallas!:
Late Afternoon: A 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 44. North northeast wind around 10 mph.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 3am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 33. North northeast wind 10 to 13 mph increasing to between 21 and 24 mph. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low near 25. North wind 18 to 21 mph decreasing to between 9 and 12 mph.

Friday: A chance of snow and sleet, mainly after noon. Chance for precipitation is 40%. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 37. North northeast wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Friday Night: Freezing rain and sleet likely. Chance for precipitation is 60%. Cloudy, with a low around 30. North wind between 3 and 6 mph.

Saturday: Freezing rain and sleet likely before noon, then a chance of snow. Chance for precipitation is 60%. Cloudy, with a high near 32. North northwest wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Saturday Night: A slight chance of flurries before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. North northwest wind around 11 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. North northeast wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 37.

President's Day: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 54.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of rain before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 54.

Ok I might be able to run it on Thursday - but it looks like the weekend's shot!

Or should I just grow-up and drive the sucker no matter what?

Yes.

I drive mine everyday and I have a 1100' long unpaved driveway (finally saw the DSC idiot light).

And I'm still smiling after 4 weeks and 3000 miles.

At least you guys have yours! I'm not so patiently waiting on the dealer to call me and tell me they've located my car. Gotta love MUSA's web site!

I saw the wintery mix forecast for Friday night here in the Austin area and cringed. Of course it's gonna be a chilly morning for the wife to run the Marathon on Sunday as well.

I forget who it was, but some race-car driver had a good quote:

"Superstitions are bad luck."

Talking

There is superstition in avoiding superstitions. (Francis Bacon) :D

I agree with you but the post reminded me of that quote.

::cheers::
