The RX Club of Houston is having their monthly meet this Tuesday, AND EVERYONE SHOULD BE GOING TO IT. If all of the North Houston guys can make it out to the Tuesday meet, then I see no need for a Wednesday meet. However, I realize that not everyone can make it out Tuesday night (or is just too shy/nervous to meet all the 7 owners in Houston), so if enough people still want to have a Wednesday meet, go ahead and sign in here.

NOTE: Signing up for the Wednesday meet != not going to Tuesday meet. If you're like me and never have plans on weeknights, we'd love to see you at both.

 

I can probably go to the Tuesday meet but not Wednesday. Wednesdays are almost never good for me.

 

Wednesday might actually work for me after all. that is usually my one night during the week to get together with my girlfriend but I convinced her to go to the club meet tomorrow instead. That means we won't meet up on Wednesday. I really do need to work on my RX-7 though. It's been undergoing some heavy surgery this week.

 

So, if I'm understanding you correctly, you'll be going to both meets?

Tuesdays generally work for me. I will be at the club meet tonight. I'm probably going to pass on tomorrow though. I've got too much to do on the car.

 

I can't make either today nor tomorrow's meet this week. Too much going on in school at the moment.

since wednesdays meets arent looking so great now adays, do you guys wanna consider moving the meets to tuesdays or thursdays?

Different location? This is a different location so more people can show up. It's the north side meet. We've already got a central meet once a month. Where are you thinking about having it?

The idea of moving the meet was brought up in the past so more southside people could attend. I just wanted to know where that stood i guess. if I would throw out a suggestion....... uh....... um....... starbucks on post oak? I dunno haha

im 14-16 miles away from the Hooters place. i waste about 2 gallons goin to the meet every week
other ppl can do the same

 

^^ im farther out then 14-16 miles, but I dont mind the trip. Same with Legend.

 

I thought the point of this was for the northside people who can't get into town easily? This seems a bit counterproductive to that. We already have the central meet. It's the Houston RX club and it meets monthly. If everyone can show up on Tuesdays and don't mind going into town, that just so happens to be the normal meeting days for the Houston club. First Tuesday of the month.

 

I hope it didnt seem like I was trying to start a debate about moving the meet. I just wanted to know since talk of changing days from wednesday to either tuesday or thursday started coming up, if the location was going to be changed as well since that topic was also brought up in the past. I was just looking for some clarification here. Also, I never thought of the meet as a "northside" meet, but more of a weekly rx8 meet located on the northside. If so, im a southside outsider!! haha

 

I might have a new schedule, since one of our professors were fired. Are these weekly meets still happening? All of you already know, I don't mind the drive.

 

the reason I felt like I created a "northside" meet was because my car doesn't have a cat. I felt like I got everything NA done, so just wanted too show others what the difference is.
