Monthly ride in DFW
 

What do you guys think about maybe sometime like once a month a bunch of us get together and just take a ride around the DFW area. ive seen corvettes do this and my buddy is an administrator on my350z.com and they do the same thing. just wanted to see if there was any interest.

Of course, we had a blast the last time we did it, I think it was September. I'm sure this'll get a ton of replies, let's just get something set up and I'm down. :)

ya i think it could be tons of fun. cuz i dunno about u but i love driving my 8 just to drive it haha

Sounds like a plan to me big turn out last time, hell thats what i do every weekend is cruise. Hit me up

alright well since you two think it will be a good idea, anyone who is interested state a date that you think will be best to do it.

I don't have a specific date in mind but I would be willing to come down for a good drive.

Does anyone have a particular route in mind?

There are very few good "driving" roads in the DFW area unless you go pretty far north. Cruising around on a highway or local road is just an excuse for cops to follow you and write dumb tickets for no front plate etc. The NTS2K0C does some BBQ runs a few times a year and just did a fall colors drive as well.

Last few rides i have been on this has never happened unless your being dumb and breaking the law we had a nice couse that we ran last time it was toward ft. worth a lot of back roads with good turns and it road for about a hour a believe well have to get the group together from last time and run that route again it was hella fun.

There's a stretch just north of Fredericksburg that I absolutely love to drive my 8 on... map. Unfortunately, that's a ways away from the metroplex.

ya thats true. i got some pretty good ones that r pretty close to where i live. just inbetween mckinney and sherman theres some good open country roads.

We'll be hitting up that area this weekend, really looking forward to it. :)

Hey, let me know if this comes together. I live in Mckinney north of DFW. There are several nice roads in this area that are curvy and fun. I would love to just hang out and drive with other rotorheads no matter what kinda road we find!

Why don't you two McKinney owners put together something that covers about 60 miles or so and we'll all work on the dates? I've heard nothing but excellent things from other 8 owners about the roads in that area, I just don't know my way around there well enough to put a route together. Is it possible we could do it this weekend or will everyone still be out of town for the holidays? Sunday maybe?

I think I'm avail sunday.

id love to do it sunday but i get back from denver around 7pm

Ha, okay, okay, Sunday, December 2? Any road ideas/maps yet? Do I need to go on an adventure and find a few myself? :)
