Is Midlothian still a distribution center for Mazda. I was hoping to be able to see dozens of RX8s there soon.

 

as in the city midlothian near waxahachie? i didnt know they had a place out there if they even do. i know they have a holding place for a bunch of kias that come in on a train.

 

Not sure if the dist. center is there.. but I do know that delivery is now delayed about 1 month for Texas... it looks like the RX-8s will hit Houston/Central Texas about July 8th. (give or take a week)

 

So is the delay just production starting later - and for all North American RX-8s, or is it just a Texas thing. I know everything's bigger in Texas, lets just hope the wait isn't.

 

I dunno.. my source just said that he knew the Texas shipments were delayed... i didn't ask whether that was part of a larger problem or not.. sorry. :P

 

I noticed your location. I just made that trip today taking my WRX to lewisville for service and then driving down here to Ennis.

Mazdas used to be parked in Midlothian, now all I see is Kias. Mazda is still listed on the sign in Midlothian as far as businesses there.

yea im from waxahachie. and now im in lewisville and about to move back to ennis. the guy im going to room with is getting a yellow rx-8 so if you ever want to meet up then let me know and ill set up.
