Mazda Rev It Up LSP
So did anyone on this forum go? If so, you might have seen me there...I was there from 10 am until 5:30 PM. I had a great time, very fun stuff. I also enjoyed the karts :D
I sucked up the competition with a 33 second run...but it was my first time. My buddy got a 31.

I was there at the enthusiast tent all day today with my car. I just got back home from Dallas. I'll try to post up the pictures for our two 8's in the next day or so.
My best lap time was my second at 31.075 which was a 491 index. I managed to cut two seconds out on the second run after spending more time in the clinics.
It is most certainly the most fun you can have in somebody else's car for $40 bucks.

I was trying to see if I could get an escort out of town. In the end the TMS traffic didn't seem to be an issue anyway.
You should have dropped by. I was wondering if I was going to meet any of the Dallas owners.

Now if you are on 114 between TMS and 635, then you're hating it. So what you do is find out which party pal of yours is parking their motor home at the track over the weekend, and you barbeque with them for the rest of the day, and drive away that evening when the traffic thins out .

Yeah. That was what one of my friends did a few years go. They rented a motor home and spent the weekend in the infield. Unfortunately he didn't wait long enough after the cup race before they tried to leave. The parking lot was pretty empty but it was still clogging up the surrounding roads.
