well, I know for sure the engine is fine, or else it wouldnt be done. I'm guessing they reprogrammed the PCM and replaced leading spark plugs since that's what most have had done. by the way, there's a chance I'll install the supercat this weekend so sorry if you miss a chance to hear stock cat with RB exhaust, but I get out at 2:50, get to my car about 3-3:10 if you wanna hear it. I'll be in the back lot probably facing the field.

 

finally got UPS to figure the problem out and get stuff done and got the package. Drove home for the weekend after I got my car from the recall work, seems fine, not much different. on the trip home I decided to be stupid and stepped on the gas in 6th gear, I slowed down when I hit 145 mph, and then thought that I shoulda taken a pic but oh well, I tired again but didnt get a chance with open road, got a pic at 130 mph though.

 

man if you reached 145 in 6th you should have just stayed in 5th could of topped it at like 148-150 then taken pics

 

yeah... I do have to drive back to san antonio though

got the supercat installed today, sounds pretty nice. It's kinda loud but not as bad as I was thinking from what everyone else had said about it.

 

uninstalled my midpipe and exhuast tonight.....forgot how quite stock 8's were =)

Taking it in for recall Friday....can't take it off at my complex so I took it off while I could at home....I don't know I will definately put the exhaust back on....but may look at selling the midpipe and getting a supercat

 

oh, I wasnt paying any attention this whole time... what midpipe do you have? was thinking you had the supercat but you never said that

 

no have the rotary performance midpipe w/o resonator....sounds good with my exhaust...just causes a little to much turbulence in the cabin...and just a tad to loud...other than that I love it =)

 

oh ok. I think someone is selling the supercat. was under moostafa's thread. moostafa sold his but then someone else added that they were selling theirs, dunno if you're interested.

 

How much you want for that midpipe, if you do decide to sell it?

 

kinda off topic, but I'm gonna be ordering a case of premix I think, so if you wanna try some and hear the exhaust then lemme know, not sure when it'll get here though

Ya but the car was dirty as hell...waxed it up nice and cleaned out the entire interior today to take it in to the dealer tommorrow =)......tried coming out inbetween classes ((far as walk)) to see if you would be out there lol...guess not =P........dirtiest its ever been...had tons of **** from my weekend trip all in the backseat and bottles in the cup holders =P........

 

on tuesday + thursday I have class from 11-12:15 but we usually get out at like 11:45-12 then I dont have another class till 2 so I usually go grab a bite to eat or do something at my appartment for a couple hours since it's only a few minutes from campus. I get out of my 2 o'clock class at 3:15 and probably at my car by 3:30 (depends on the wait for shuttle).

btw, I got the case of premix in today. still got a bit of gas left so I'll be waiting for next fill up.

 

Tuesday I might not be able to make it ...but I can drop by Thursday after 12:15.......
