The plan is to go to Raising Cane's for dinner ~ 6:30 pm
then heading to Planet Zero down the street
Location (central west houston)

Since I already agreed to go, I won't be a dick and pull out now, but I don't have my 8 anymore. It's getting the Transmission & clutch replaced at the dealer.
It'll make me easier to spot, though - I'll be the crazy sonuvabitch in the monster truck. No, seriously - I'm a yankee who has driven an RX since he was 16. I feel like the rental they gave me is designed for running over school buses for fun.

My car pretty much initiated a self-destruct sequence, so it's going to be gone for quite a while.
My cat decided to light itself on fire so that needs to be replaced, along with everything connected and/or adjacent to it that was cooked in the blaze.
My transmission has gone from a 6MT to a 3MT due to the 2nd, 4th, and 5th gear syncros deciding to commit hari-kari.
My engine seals (not the apex seals) decided to spring a leak and spill oil onto everything but the ground.
My rear differential decided to upgrade itself from limited to UN-limited slip.
The clutch is 99.9% glaze.
Fortunately, this is all being covered under warranty, so the grand total for these weeks of repair comes to $50 :D
Plus, I get a monster truck as a rental for free lol

Well, the car was mostly destroyed when I bought it over a year ago. It's just taken the dealer this long to finally admit that they need to do something about it.
The tranny has always been crap. The stereo has always been crap (that's getting replaced, too - forgot to mention). The engine however is tip-top notch. It's just that everything around it isn't.

dennis's friend ain't getting any =( and we seem to be all interested in a DIY day too.
what i need:
throttle bypass
perhaps new driving light
Racing Beat screen install
a couple people need to do the AuX Hack mod for the cheap *** aux port.
don't know what else.. 1st of all
tools needed: 10 mil wrench, 10 mil socket, wrench, soldering gun, solder, soldering flux(optional) wire stripper, flathead screwdriver, Stereo aux cable from RadioShack(~5bucks)
time for mod.. anywhere from 2 to 5 hours.. depends on how fast we can get the radio out... tat thing's a bitch

From what I use to can do, I can take out the radio in like 10 minute. Its not that hard once you've done it before but its been awhile =) Did yall try the imported game at Planetzero? Its called Maximum Tune and its the best game in the world
