I need some synchro work done on my transmission, anyone know a shop that charges a decent price to get a synchro replaced?

i can't make the next coming meet b/c of work but I'm glad Houston has this club... i can tell its a pretty darn good group of guys who know them rotaries.

I had that problem in 5th....both ways....I went to a couple of dealerships & MAZDA before I finally got someone to ride and listen......WHAT YEAR IS YOURS??

 

Mine is 04, im pretty sure its out of warranty.

Recently picked up an '07 RX-8, and just wanted to say hello to the rest of the Houston area folks. I live out in the Sugar Land area, and would be willing to help out with mod installs and other DIY work (as my limited time permits).

It was a great turnout for the meet. It was nice meeting other RX-8 owners. It's been a while since I have been to this meets. inTEGrate89, nothing is wrong with my tranny. I just have to replace it if I get the greedy turbo kit. I'm looking forward to the next meet!

Hey guys.. just wanted to apologize that I haven't been on the forum lately.. i wrecked my 8 aobut a month ago.. and there was significant damage to it.. i was going to trade it in to buy a beemer but I just couldn't let the car go... so it's coming back soon ;p i hope to see old faces and new!!

 

Woot woot! Glad you are going to keep her. You mad me sad last time when you said you were going to trade her in haha.

I haven't attended these local meets yet in awhile. Guess I need to free up more time now haha.

Looks like I missed a great gathering. Accepted a new and better job three weeks ago and I am stuck on nights for awhile, probably till June or so. But just as soon as I can, I will be at these awesome gatherings..............

 

Thank you. I actually had the taillights and side markers smoked out by a body shop that is no longer in Houston. The headlights I had them tinted with actual film tint. But my friend, Abraham , at Erace Performance can help you out. He smokes out taillights and headlights. He does really good work. You can reach him at 713-861-7619. Thanks .

Yesterday when i was driving down beltway 8 towards 59 s i saw a rx8 all banged up on the highway, im assuming because of all the rain. That gray rx8 didnt belong to anyone here right?

so how often are these meets held here in Houston? I would go today, but I have to study for tomorrows finals.
