Houston "8-sighting"
I've been driving my 8 for about two months and I've not seen a single one in traffic. UNTIL...Tuesday afternoon, heading out 290 past Beltway 8. It was nordic green (I think) but it looked like a deep dark grey. Mine's tintanium which I think is as grey as you can get so, I'm assuming it was nordic. It had a dealer-tag that I think said January 16, could have said Feb 16. The dealer-tag was on a funny angle so it was not legible. It exited on Skinner Rd.
Not too surprisingly, it's a very pretty car. I zipped past it and scoped it out from the side and then through my mirrors. One of the very distinctive things about an 8 is how the xenons look in your side-view mirror - very cool. I then held up and waited for the 8 to gain on me and ultimately, to pass me. Nice view from any angle. Was just wondering if this 8 belonged to someone who "hangs out" here on the board. Great car!!

That's where I live and hang out, but I have a Yellow one. My son goes to Cypress-Ridge high school (the new one across from Traders Village). I go in 290 to work every morning, out I-10 and up the Beltway every afternoon, and to-from the high school around 4:15 to 4:30 (Basketball practice). I'll keep an eye out for you.
I have had mine since July, and have seen two or three in daily driving, until Monday. I saw a red one at the gas station on Jones, another red one at the car wash on West, and a silver one on West at the Beltway. THREE in the space of a mile and a half.......what are the odds?

Was hard to tell r0gue. It was definitely a female driver and my guess would be that she had the GT package since it looked like light was coming in from above (hard to tell for sure though since it was close enough to dusk for headlights). Regarding transmission, who knows?
