I live in Houston and had the hood, fenders, mirrors and bumper sealed in a 3M-film clear-bra by a company off 1960. They did an excellent job and they guarantee their work. Mine was not their first 8 and they let me sit with the car and watch every step of the install. It was all-in-all about a 2.5 hour process but I'm quite satisfied with the look (or lack of look--it blends in nicely with the titanium). If anybody is looking for a clear-bra dealer in Houston, I'd readily recommend these guys.

I'm new enough not to be sure if you can post dealer names for stuff like this on the board. So, I'm erring on the side of caution but if you're like me, I was clueless as to who to use and what to expect. These guys are skilled and take pride in their work and I'd recommend them to any other 8 owner.

Hey, great post!!! I was wondering if you could PM me to let me know which dealer installed your clear bra I'm in the Houston area as well, actually I'm right off of Beltway 8, and 290. I have a gray Rx8 as well and am looking for someone to do my car. If you know mind me asking, how much did you pay??
