I had mine done at a place in the Galleria on westheimer, next to James Coney Island co-located with the car wash. Did a very good job, pricer than most but used the top quality film I had been looking for.

I paid 150 for all the windows. I pay more attention to the tint color. This tint makes normal car lights seem like HID's, 7% on the front windows (front come tinted stock) / 15% all around

no problem, let us know how it turns out! Just an FYI though, if your considering the legalities. Than you should know the front windows are tinted I think 2% or something. I've been pulled over and checked for my window tint and the officer found it to be 7% in the front, even though I bought 15% all around. Nothing happened though, not really a big issue anyway. Thugs don't drive Rx-8's...

My friend Gary has been tinting for over 20 years. He tints all of the cars for BMW north, BMW Woodlands, and Mini Woodlands dealerships. He works out of BMW Woodlands but tints all cars. I've sent many people to him.

$450 35% I only want the heat reduction I'm not interested in being a cop magnet. Real quality job. Holding up great. 35% is the law in TX for the front at least.

My wife had limo tint put all the way around on her truck and it's a real PITA in my opinion. Nevermind the legalities. If you have ever driven any vehicle with limo tint at night you know what I'm talking about.

You basically are forced to roll down your windows just about every time you need to pull into a parking space or even some entrances to parking lots.

I went to executive tint on Hillcroft b/w westheimer and richmond. I know a whole of people that have gone to them since '97. I got exactly what you wanted, a little less than illegal in the front and faded to illegal in the back. I used a tint that is reflective when looking at it dead on and black when looking at it from an angle. I paid $300 for my job but it came with a lifetime warranty (bubbles and broken windows redone for free). I highly recommend them. I was told that our rear windshield has angles that may give someone that hasn't done an RX-8 trouble. Kavid was the guy over there that helped me out.
