Ok, I'm officially a retard. How many weeks/months/years have we been doing this shindig on Tuesdays? Yeah, well, last night, while out and about, I mention that there's a big meet at Rack Daddy's... new people, Chris's turbo, Mr. Ed (and you know it's big when HE shows up since it's so rare) and Brillo are all going to be there... and that I hadn't been to a meet in a REALLY long time and missed everyone. Boxrs was feeling kinda bad so he bent the "honeymoon" rules and said we could go to RD's for 15 min, enough to ride in the turbo and say hi to everyone... YES!!!! So we went last night, drove the parking lot and saw no 8's or M3s. We go inside (even though he thought there was no point) and wait for about 20 minutes... there was poker tables and many more people than normal, kinda throwing me for a loop... and no one shows up... I was kinda ticked at you all!! Then I was thinking, well maybe they were meeting for dinner somewhere first... I had my phone off so no one could call and tell me and I couldn't remember what the forum said... We even trailed a TG from 30 to 20 (after flying up on it, thinking it was Chris and we wanted to scare him, sorry about that new guy), thinking it was a newbie coming to the meet! But he ended up not turning onto the service road... So we leave, and I'm kinda bummed that I didn't see everyone... Then I wake up this morning and realize that TODAY is Tuesday and that the meet is today... Ooops. I still don't think we'll make it, but maybe my retardness will pull a sympathy factor and we'll show up... *crosses fingers*

I do respect the honeymoon thing, but if you can make it that would be great.

Actually, married life totally rocks! I love it! We're having a great "honeymoon" *wink wink, nudge nudge* and we had a great weekend window shopping for furniture and appliances for the new house. They have the frame around where the foundation will be poured and there's a bunch of holes in the ground. YESSSSS!!!!

I think I was just really wanting to hang out with you guys, non-chalantly bringing it up in conversation with Boxrs in hopes of getting a yes and then when he did say yes, I was so excited that I completely forgot it wasn't until the next day.

 

thats was funny as hell reading that, Dazy. but i will be there tonight...beleive it or not. i've been waiting on chris to get turbo for along time now. it's finally happened so i'm not missing this.

oh yeah...what time is everyone getting there?

oh yeah chris -- very nice ride man love the turbo, and your touchscreen carPC kicks ***, will look uber-nice once its fitted and molded all pretty to look stock

I have a suggestion... can we make it a late afternoon kind of thing? It should be plenty warm out. I think it would be fun to wind the day down with a grill and a drink... all of us sitting around in lawnchairs... chatting away into the darkness with a beer in our hands... I think I'm drooling at the thought of beer.

Sorry Brillo, not much excitement going on in the Dazy household this weekend. We're shopping for appliances and furniture... woo woo... If we end up doing something I'll give you a buzz though.

If no one objects, I think a late afternoon thing with drinking into the night would work best on a Friday or Saturday for those with normal working hours. Those who don't (ahem, Mr. Ed) I'm sure can work some magic to join us. What are everyone's thoughts on this?
