Talking First Mazdaspeed in Houston

Well, at the least, I believe I am the first to post pictures of my car in forum group. I have all the components except for the rear splitter and the side-views. I decided I would wait for the parts. So, I will eventually get them, but I just don't know when.

FYI, I installed all the parts myself. Since I am a "perfectionist," this job was extremely difficult. But, I am definitely available to provide any pointers if any of you decided to purchase this wonderful kit.

And...Let me say...this kit adds about 100 more horses to my titanium bullet. :D

I like it! What kind of modifications to the motor are made to get 100 more hp? That has to be a huge kick in the pants with 100 more hp.

Didn't quite detect the sarcasm in the original statement did you?!

Hahahah...

Yea, I only dream of those extra hundred horses. However, soon I will have some extra horses when I receive my Stage 1. I keep emailing Maurice, and everytime he tells me "next" week. That, of course, has continued for about three weeks now. I'll just have to wait and see.

Until then, I will enjoy my new bullet.

Ahhh got cha! I'm kinda new to the 8... about 2 weeks is all. I used to live in Pearland (Silverlake) moved up here to Spring 2 years ago. I might bug ya later when I get my clear corners on how to put em on.

I live in Spring! There are a couple of RX-8's up here. eXentric here on the forum lives in Spring and Mr. Wigggles works in the Woodlands. I do spend alot of time down in Clear Lake. I'd love to see that car in person sometime.

Looks nice, man. I've seen a few new 8's in the Clear Lake area in the past month. Gotta get em all together sometime for a cruise around town.

it's so nice to see the 8 from a third person perspective.

It's even better when another 8 sees you with the MS kit and does a real double take :D

Hey c$v RX8. Looks like the mods match paint perfectly. Did it come pre-painted or do you have a great bodyshop painter here in Houston?

I have to agree about the double take. After all the hard work I put into my baby, she deserves the attention.

As for the parts being painted perfectly, all I have to do is thank Mazdaspeed. I ordered these authentic parts, and they came to my doorstep painted.

That'd be fun. And we can make it literally "around town" and call it The Beltway 500. (EZ Pass, of course.)

I'm back in another Blue 8 as you may have seen.

i agree about getting the 8s together. i have actually, tried to make it out to the rx-7 club meets, but during the week i get real busy or might even be out of town.

i would more likely be able to make something on the weekend.
