finally got popped

boy have I had the greatest morning ever, after leaping a curb due to some dumbass not paying attention, running over some metal thing in the road on mopac, and then after more than 4 years I finally got another speeding ticket, I was flying too, a whopping 75 in a 65...thanks apd...I feel much safer now knowing you guys are on the job at least my car appears to be ok from all the offroading though, things could be worse (like always)

to get a 75 in 65 he must not like yellow cars, thats bad luck to get a ticket for 10 over.

You got a ticket for a 75 in a 65?! That's crap. I still get passed by cops when I'm only doing 10 over.

That's a good warning though. I may be in Austin tomorrow and Sunday and will be going down Mopac as I want to go get some beer at NXNW.

yep, and I was surrounded by cars going similar speeds....go figure apparently from what some coworkers tell me the apd is not giving the 10mph "grace" as they have lowered it to 4 mph, apparently it had something to do with trying to lower dwi/dui tickets or some other "cop"out, sounds like a giant scam to me....fockers

You know I love you Canary, but with my 3 tickets in 3 months, ONE OF THEM BEING 8 OVER THE LIMIT, I have no sympathy. All I can say is invest in a radar detector and learn how to dodge and run. Oh, and know where they hide out.

wait a sec....you love me? so what are you doing for Valentines day ?!?! so I break my long *** streak and I'm a bit bummed but not really crushed or anything.....and then on the way home this eveing I get pulled over AGAIN! the officer told me I didn't signal while changing lanes and I was tailgating, he was all "guess you didn't see me back there" and being a real smart *** about everything saying how I have a nice car and it attracts attention, and it got his attention tonight. I was in a 45 and being pushed from behind (almost literally) by some dumbarse typical austin driver while the other moron in front of me was doing like 20, so I got a little freaked as I've been hit from behind in my previous vehicle like 6 times, so I made some moves to get myself out of there and i guess homedude seeing my car thought I was doing something else...oh well...I did get off with a warning as I told homedude I had been working all day and was just trying to get home....he sympathized with me and told me to use my signals and blah blah blah...I've been hearing rumors they have stepped up tickets and such...now I'm beginning to wonder if these things I've been hearing are legit or if just some coincidence....guess I might be riding my bike for a few days until they lose my scent or something lol
