actually a native would argue it is, it's all the wannabe' psycho left wing hippies in this town that would try and claim otherwise.....not that there's anything wrong with that

welcome to austin, if you want to hang out with some fellow 8 owners/rotorheads look us up

Great, there's only 4 active members from El Paso, and now you're leaving...

You could always argue that El Paso is more a part of Mexico than a part of Texas.

I could easily argue that SA and south is also part of Mexico also but I wasn't going to go there

my last day of work here is the 26th so i should be out there some time after that. I will be doing web development, php/mysql programming. I had another offer from txDot but i didnt take it. Actually, i used craigslist.com and workintexas.com, each resulting in an offer. I had been trying to get out there for a year already and I finally got my break! El Paso doesn't have much opportunity for computer scientists

Plus, anything closer to PTP is a plus!

Can anyone recommend an aprtment complex in North Austin?

Riata is nice but expensive, you might have better luck finding something in Round Rock and PfLugerville, heck, you might even be able to get a house there for what you pay in rent in Austin.

cool, feel free to lurk on our site as well, we have a forum and our events are posted on there as well, we'll be doing some fun stuff with other clubs in the area this month and probably from here on out so if you want to meet some new folks who have excellent taste in cars come on out, it would be nice to have a white hang out with us, as it stands I'm the only yellow lol

if it had clear corners thats me! i got an apartment over in south austin, there are 3 other 8s in my complex! 1 white with a spoiler, 1 black with a spoiler and one grey! that never happens in el paso! i also noticed a lot more sti's and LOT less srt-4s in this city.. i guess that goes to show you the economy of the place. A LOT less ricers too! I haven't had time to do much to my 8, i do want the ptp kit tho and a few other things

I don't think you would get a whole lot of argument.. El Paso is more a part of Mexico then Texas, hell it is more like NM then Texas.

Can I get some sweet tea with my meal? uhhhhhh no...
