Yo! lol... so what shops ya'll like in el paso??

 

So ive been on this site for a while but never looked for people in El Paso until now...hahaha (should of done it sooner!)....technically i dont live in El Paso but in horizon.....sadly i moved over here a few month ago but my work and school are in the lower valley so im down there most of my week...i have a Ti Gray 8 with purple headlights and yellow fogs so if you ever see me around flash your lights haha

 

I dont know of many, but I'm thinkin of getting my stock wheels powdercoated gunmetal at the The Shop Performance in the northeast. I've heard good things about them. Any thoughts?

 

is there any rx8 meets in town? i met a guy that told me bout one but when i called he never answered

 

I only see other 8s on occasion let alone know anyone around hear that has one. That being said, I'm all for having a meet set up through the forums.

 

one of my friends has an 8 and i got the number of some other guy that goes to my work once in a while....and the guy with the big red rx8 letters on his car has my number but its only a matter of time till i see him again.....im so down for a meet and cruise....my team hangs out often but nothing like pure 8s going down the street hahaha

 

Speed Factory is really good and if you ask, the owner can probably give you some hook-ups on parts. They have a really sweet RX7.

This ' team ' you speak of..what is it? A Car Club or something?

And if we could actually get something set up instead of just talking about it would be pretty sweet =P

 

Actually i know the owner, Rich, he teaches performance tunning at my school, he's a pretty cool guy but i really dont now bout the hook ups...he gets a lot of people down in his shop looking for hookups so i dont know how that will turn out, ill ask him bout and see what he says
yeah its a car club that i joined back when i got my first car, we might not have the best looking cars out there but the people are awsome, always got your back and to me thats all that matters, Ive known of clubs that dont even know you by your name but by your car....thats pretty messed up hahahah.....

Oh nice. Yeah, I haven't dealt with him for my 8 but he did help my friend out (recently deployed now) with his Toyota Matrix.

 

Onyx8- I had my wheels powdercoated gray metallic/ gunmetal (on Sunlight Silver) back in Jan '07 by El Paso Powdercoating. I dealt with Aryan over there- great guy and a lot of patience. I went through three colors before we nailed the right one that I had in mind. Call him up or stop by his shop and see what he can do, too.

My RX-8 got totaled!!! sucks so I don't know what to do.

I really love the 8 but i feel like I want something different. What should I do?

I thought about like a mazdaspeed 3 or something but I can't get over the front wheel drive...

Whats up guys? My name is AJ. I live in EL paso... (Eastside). I happened to have stepped in this rx8club.com site couple of times months back, but havn't taken the time to post anything as for recently. I didn't know there was this regional forum option as to giving me the opportunity to talk to fellow rx8 owners in my area. Guys... I have been lookin for rotary meets for the past 3-5 yrs that I have been in El paso. I have a 2005 Mazda Rx8 sport Auto. This 8 was actually my oldest bro's car whom my parent's purchased it for him on 05. My bro left the country about a year ago and the car belongs to me now. Anyways enough with the rubbish.

I recently met this rotorhead at my college by the name "andy" (Rx8 owner) Idk if he is active in this forums though but I had a lil chat with him, weeks back. I asked him the same question "are there any rotary meets over here" he was like ya man about 20, 8's meet up at a carwash or either taco cabana some **** like that every weds.

Today is wed, Its my first time going to be meetin up some Rx8 owners here in my area... YA! about time. Holla at me if you know the guy im talkin about / If i'm gonna be meetin up with you.
