since this sunday isnt going to happen, who is down for Tinseltown on Saturday of next week? We can all hit up transformers 2, so dont go watching it opening day unless you want to watch it more than once obviously. Will post time to meet when i get showtimes for the movie in the next few days

What's the consensus on the Saturday Tinseltown "get together"? Sounds good to me, but only two posts since the suggestion. I would definitely like to catch up with some more 8's.

Had a good meet at tinseltown last night and desa and I showed up later today at the car show and with rex and 3rd again.. He is the pic I took of the meet



Also when we were talking today we would like to get a more 8's together for a cook out or something this weekend so try to pass the word around here and off the web!

 

100% agreed, was thinking of a cruise on scenic drive and a lunch spot at the end somewhere, whoever can do this on the 3rd, post.

Also, this is going to be in the middle of the day, for some hopefully outstanding shots on scenic, a starting spot has yet to be determined. Suggestions are welcome. this is going to be the 3rd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Sounds good. My schedule is clear "for now", so I guess it's a go for me. We need to put the word about this. My contact list is limited to the four 8's I met at Tinseltown. Let's try to get at least six 8's for this.

It looks like a no-go on the cruise. At least it gives us some time to actually plan and scout a route for the next one. I'm not familiar with area yet, but I'm sure of you guys that have been in the area a few years know of some fun driving roads. Let's get something going fellas and ladies (if there are any here).

whats up guys? ive had this account for some time but never really used it haha. i didnt know there was other 8 enthusiest in el paso. let me know when the next meet is .id like to go hit that up.

 

by the way i drive a gray 04 with seibon carbon fiber hood. black wheels.aem cai. greddy exaust and agency power crank pulley and mazdatrix fogs.

 

There seems to be a lot of schedule conflicts and/or lack of interest in getting a modest group of 8's together. Other than the four other 8 owners I met at Tinseltown, no one else has shown any interest in organizing or even suggesting some sort of meet. I'm not downing any other 8 owners, a lot of them might not even be on the forum, but the five 8's from the Tinseltown meet seem to be the only ones down to get together. Just an observation.

 

hopefully we can get a meet together , i apologize about the 4th. but there was a family issue and i had to take emergency leave. i am back now and if someone would like to post a date that is good for them , a place, a time, and the event...then that would be grand. Im swamped at work at the moment so planning this stuff is not possible on my watch right now.


I dont knwo where there are any good bowling alleys in el paso. But an idea popped into my head that sometime after the 15th we meet up on a weekend for some bowling, and possibly a cruise to a place to eat. Thats just my suggestion, any get togethers before then would be welcome.

Hanging out is nice and relaxed, but lets do something. I will talk to third eye and he can inform his 8 friends and any other 8's he sees at his work WINK WINK WINK about a meet and give them my number WINK WINK WINK so i can confirm the date for the after 15th event.

ok josh i get your WINK WINKS!!!....lol ive seen a couple of 8s at work but its been soo busy i dont have time to tell them anything but im down for the meet soon or a cruise...there is actually two bowling alleys in town that are good but i say we set up a for sure date and we'll just take it from there
