We are organizing a dyno day for all local groups to be held on January 6th. The event is limited to 20 cars on the dyno, and 30 guests. Free food and drink, etc. There will be prizes given. I'm just trying to see if there is any interest. We have a Dyno Dynamics two wheel dyno, so we can do steady state tuning as well power pulls with A/F. We've got a turbo E36 M3 project car that should be running an Autronic SM4 by then. We're also in the process of building a K20 turbo hatch. I just remodeled the showroom with tons of performance parts, so it will also be an open house as well. Price is $35 for Forum members for the dyno pulls. I'd love to see as many people there as possible.

OK I just found out that we will be doing air / fuel readings. However, it is going to cost a additional $20 for us to do it.

 

wewt, my car made 160.6 on the dyno dynamics dynomater. highest of the RX-8's!

thats 160.6 at the wheels, factor about 20% drivetrain loss and it's about 200 at the crank. from what the guys at ICC were telling me the dyno they have is a much more accurate reading of your power than a dynojet or others.

The other rx-8's were at 150, 151, and 156. I think the others had minor mods like intakes and exhausts.

The only "mods" (if you can even call them that) are:
K&N Air filter
Magnecor Spark Plug wires
Synthetic Oil

 

here's my dyno chart as promised
