I have talked to other 8 owners that usually meet up for the DFW meets and there are talks of doing a DFW drive. Meeting up take a pic and just cruise around the metroplex. Anyone else interested in doing this ?

Well lets just take a vote to see what day is best for every one this weekend looks pretty good as far as the weather goes. We are looking at either saturday or sunday. After we pick a day then we can work on the times and a spot that is good for everyone to meet!

Yeah, I'm free both days so far, but I'd go with Sunday. I'm so glad you actually brought this up, I thought the idea was just going to die out after the meeting! You guys thinking more evening time to get a variety of pics, or sometime during the day? Anyone know of any fun back roads with curves? Ever hear from your friend on drifting locations?

Yeah it sounds like sunday is going to be a good day to do this. we can either do early morning (i dont know who goes to church) - midday or closer to the later after noon - I want to have daylight but i dont want to be sweating most of the day either - if everyone agrees then we can figure out what routes to take - open for suggestions

I have only lived in Dallas for a year now. I dont really know of any specific places for photos, so, i am up for whatever.

Sunday is good. We can go to a bunch of places. Ill bring my mom's camera for some pics. We should make a Dallas rx8 club.com username and password for sharing pictures over the internet. We should definitely go on top of a parking structure!

Oh yeah, Red, I forgot to tell you I took a look at those pics and I liked them a lot! My friend said he knows of some awesome curvy roads he takes his motorcycle out on, but I will have to ask him where. I get the impression it's kind of far out. I know there are some good roads in McKinney as well, a fellow 8 owner I worked with used to talk about them. I'll be glad to ask for details on both of those if anyone is interested.

Looks like on sunday is going to be the day we can take a vote if we want to eat first , take pics then ride or we can ride to a specific spot eat and take pics. I was thinking we could meet up at the Winghouse on Sunday off of northwest highway 11:30am-12:00 we can grab a bite take some pics and plan a route out. If anyone has any suggestions or any issues with times or location please let me know. Thanks
