Heh, most people that I meet with want me to bring the Lotus - since they've never seen one in person.

 

Well I can't speak for others in this thread, but I am going to anyway! By now most of us have probably seen lotus's alot more than the regular public, though prob only a few of us have actually driven one or been in one.

meh I've seen a Lotus before, they're cool but nothing new. I like the way an 8 looks better anyway's, o and to the guy who doesn't want to come because of his auto I hope your kidding man. heh because that's all we're doing right now, we joke around all the time so don't take it serious, im sure we'd all love to see ya come out and join us. you'd have fun and we'd hopefully have another member/regular at meets. The more the better

For all those in the dark, yes I got a ticket yesterday. I'm sure I'll catch all sorts of crap tonight for it, so I figured I'd let everyone see. I'm kind of pissed though, cause he said it's a 2 door car when it's OBVIOUSLY NOT!!

No...it was me just being an idiot. There's a 3 lane divided road (with a concrete & grass median) by my work. i was coming back from lunch and decided to punch it since no one was in front of me. Started in the middle lane and moved over to the right as the road curved and there's where the failure to signal came from.

I do it every now and then where I hit the redline in 3rd and then shift to 4th but let off the gas and slow down to the speed limit. I just got busted this time.

And Jew, the cop told me he should arrest me for reckless endangerment and all that good stuff....but just gave me the ticket instead. Luckily, the court I had to go to is one of our clients and I trained half the court staff...so i got a real nice break this morning when i went in to take care of it.

BASTID! (yes I spelled it how I meant too) Great you got it fixed somewhat, but not so great that I don't know people in those types of places to help me out like that.

Alive and well, just been MIA for a while. I lost my job late Feb and had picked up valet again so i've been working nights latley, thus missing meets. I started a new job the first of the month so in a few weeks I'll lose the valet gig and might be around more.

But for the record, I drove the $h!t out of a Lotus not too long ago...I think the guy was trying to get with me cuz he let me take my beer and everything...although he drove Scarlet later...maybe he was just really into cars. I dunno. Eh...

 

I'm not going to argue that one. You've put in the time at the track. However, I think Thomas was more referring to those that routinely come to the meets these days.
