i think i might have finally figured out a route.

im gonna go run down it one day this week to find out how fun it is. i know that half of it has some high speed corners and a couple low speed ones, ive run that part of it a million times in multiple vehicles. its the second half i added on that i wanna find out if its good or not

heres a link to what i have now, its 70 miles

let me know wht you guys think of it

IMO, 70 miles is a little long. especially since it will be a 25+ mile round trip just to get to your side of town (for me at least). If this route is really that good, you know im down, but keep in mind that this will be a long trip for anyone. Keep up the eagerness and keep me posted...

I would love a tarrant county cruise but I think this one is a bit long. 30-45 miles would be good I think. Maybe start near I-30 and 360 and head south. But i'm down if others are with this route.

What time on the 16th? That's a Friday, so I can probably push my flight home up if it's in the afternoon sometime, but honestly, I think Saturday would be better.

Not trying to create problems, but with work, not sure how many people would be able to make a day cruise on a Friday.

yeah im thinkin it will be a better saturday during the day type of cruise.

how about a 45 mile run

it still gives us lots of twisties and some fun highway stretches for speed

Run on Saturday sounds good to me, those roads are going to be busy though. How about NE of the Metromess there are some excellent roads West of 35 north of Alliance Airport up to the Red River.

That's cool, I was just concerned about them being busy in that area.

I'm over in Abilene. If I get my body panels in before then, I wouldn't mind making the trip over there to join in. We have a company fleet card for gas, so that's a non-issue.

something between 2 hours and 3 hours depending on how fast you drive

and to let everyone know i ran the route on saturday night with a few of my friends and they all loved it. some spots along the roads are a little rough but for the most parts its pretty smooth

Sounds like a great time. What time on Saturday? Are we meeting somewhere specific? Having lunch or something half way through?
