I'll be shocked if I have my 8 in time (it's apparently on a truck), but I may join you guys.

Don't need have it in hand to show up. Heck, I've never seen Danny's 8 at BJ's. Just come on out.

*Snicker* The garage queen?

Tailchaser-our miata has been in attendance several times at an RX8 meet, and vice versa.

If you would like to see Danny's 8 (Irish), it will be at Town North tomorrow. He's uncovering it and taking it out just for the recall.

It will only make a short appearance and then back to hibernation.

My VR 8 will be at Town North as well, so if I do make it, I'll be driving a rental.

Brandon, put me down as a maybe. Danny will be out of town and I'm feeling like crap right now. I think Matt gave me the bug. Darn you Matt!!!

If it had been last week, I would have seen it. I was there Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Seems the guys at Town North did not know you could aim the headlights, and when they replaced mine, they were pointing at the ground about 15 feet in front of me. Two solid days they could not figure out what the problem was. I take it home Thursday night and spend 5 minutes looking on here and find a page from their shop manual that shows the exact procedure for aiming the lights. So I did it, and then called Town North and told them how to do it next time someone else has the same problem. Sheesh!

Sorry I missed you guys... Let's just say that 4 years of driving underpowered cars and some open traffic on 190 today made it crucial that I get the V1 wired in this evening... got the mp3 adapter wired in at the same time, and it's tres sweet!

Traded in. Got a sweet deal on an '07 MX-5. I guess now its a waiting game with Flyin' Miata and how long it takes them to crack the 2.0

So, yes...I've been rotor-less since Tuesday.

The new Miata is quite a nice car. However, I don't think I've driven a modern sports car that was in more depserate need of a decent set of springs and shocks from the factory.

Heh. Don't mind Iain. He's just mad he can't fit an 8 and Miata in the garage at the same time. And it's a cool 4x4 convertible!

No worries! It's sunny out here, and the top is down... Now I gotta find me a group of Miatas near home!

You should do that, and then bring them to BJs on Thursdays but seat them at a different table... this way you all can talk sh*t about eachothers cars while the others are within ear shot.

That'd be funny as heck! Can you imagine the kind of conversations that may develop? But I could never do that. As a matter of fact, I don't care about the car, I met a bunch of really good folks because of the 8 and I've no intentions of forfeiting that. Hey... btw, how's sunny-hawaii?
