^^ aye, I typically just view the topics at the top of the site, ya know the good stuff teh Lounge, multimedia, 
rarely do I venture to the other areas but I may have even posted in this area before and not really paid any attention to what I was doing. but now that I know this area exists, prepare yourselfs' 
and I'll try to keep myself more up to date about the things going on around here

Thanks for the invite Tiff, I will have to check my schedule, but the last trip was definitely one of the highlights of my year so I am more than likely in with a +1 for the boyfriend (who probably won't want me to have quite as much fun as I did last year without him).

I have bad news guys - I may not be able to go to Austin this year. Mike was in an accident yesterday and his car is estimated to be out of the shop around then. The plan is for me to fly up there and drive back with him. If the car isn't ready by Austin-time, then count me in.

Yeah, he's ok. A lady ran a red light. She cornered the lady in front of her, hit Mike on his side, smashing her front, and then she got rear-ended by a garbage truck. No one was hurt and the speeds were low, but it's enough damage to cause his side airbags to go off. It sucks b/c we were going to do the drive next weekend. We're going to still try to do it with the rental though so we don't have to rent a u-haul or ship any of his things since we'll be making the trip twice. He's also going to stay here for a couple days so maybe I'll suck up being tired and go out to the meet so ya'll can meet him.
I hope we have a hill country drive on that day, we went Saturday and there were over 45 different cars that went, everything from S2k's, Rx's, TL's, Vipers,Vettes, Porsche's, it was awesome! We met at 9:30 am Saturday, might be too early for you out of town slackers

I can't believe this! I had to make arrangements with the ex-wife (like making a deal with the Devil) and I HATE talking to her and even more to ASK HER FOR A FAVOR!! So that I could switch weekends with her to make this trip and look at all the people backing out already.

I can't go because I'm flying to Delaware so my fiance doesn't make a 22 hour drive by himself. That's a pretty legit reason if you ask me...
It's no ones fault that schedules aren't meshing well this year. Austin isn't going anywhere. We can always go another time.
