So I was looking at the "replacement" event for the Dragon this year called "Mazda's Will Be In The Mountains" (link) and it's Aug. 14th - 16th. I remember hearing some people talk about wanting to go, but was wondering if anyone was actually going.

I'm going to be up in Indy the week before (4 weeks actually) and will have the 8 up there with me. I figured if some people from DFW were headed up there, I might drive home that way and make a stop and run the dragon.

Anyways, just an idea and wanted to see if anyone was actually making plans to attend.

 

Based on what Scott said the event was gonna be like (aka nothing official) I dont plan on going this year. I really wanted to go to the real one. Scott said its probably mostly gonna be local cars, because thats what it was meant for.
