dEvacuation - Checking in...
HIX8 home safe & sound back in the Clear Lake area. I-10 was smooth sailing. Except for one severe interruption of getting rear ended at Shulenburg. I would say that it was an unpleasant experience except that the chicks in the car that slammed into us were hot. A pair of UofHouston students. Even the blonde cop who documented the incident was a cutie.
I guess if you have to be rear ended... * Ok, on a serious note: While no one was injured in our crash, the reason why traffic came to an abrupt standstill (where I subsequently got smashed) was for an SUV rollover that looked horrible. A chopper was called in to get them out of there. |
man that sucks... how bad was the damage to your car?
Glad to hear everyone in your wreck was ok. |

Glad to hear everyone in your wreck was ok. Ironically, I originally wanted to evacuate in the 8. Would have sucked even worse if it happened to my baby. ...or maybe a reason why it happened was because we were driving an "invisible" car. Hmm. |
I am finally home after that whole terrible ordeal.

glad you made it home safe , sorry about your whole ordeal , was looking forward to meeting you . always next year !

Dude, that was horrible news. Your Egyptian dude must be playing the blues.

I'm ok--I ended up riding the 'storm' out at the house. We lost power for about 2 days though, and I still don't have DSL at the house.
