Thumbs up The deal is done!

Well, just as recommended, I talked with Mike at Mazda South. Great guy. After talking to him and the sales staff, we got a good deal there.

If anyone reads this and is looking for an RX-8, go to Mazda South. Very happy with the experience.

Now the proud owners of a red RX-8 automatic with touring package and a few extras.

Very happy indeed. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has helped me so far and to Mike at Mazda South. Gotta go play with the car some more.

Anyone recommend a "Rotary Engines for Dummies" type of book? I got some learning to do.

Cool "Dummies"....

Welcome, Mr. Rip!

You don't need no stinkin' book.....!

Read back about two years on this forum - it's an education!

You will never have to deal with the 'insides' of your engine, just learn the few tricks listed here and you're good to go!

Yeah Mazda south is a good place, I bought my protege there a long while back. I moved up north so I deal with North for all repairs and maintenance, but I bought my 8 at Premier (they had the style and color I wanted). All 3 places are very cool and professional.

Oh yeah and Gratz on the 8... I still havent seen one on the road other than mine, seems like there are a billion Z's and WRX's though.

Thanks, all. I live up North also, but Mazda North wouldn't work with me. I won't be doing business there...

I'm steady searching the archives and reading up. It's a whole new world.

Congrats!

We live literally 500 feet from Mazda North these days, but we always go to back to Mazda South for all our purchasing and servicing needs. It's like being part of the family down there.
