D/FW Road Rally: you are invited! - Aug 9th 2008
The next RoadRally in the 2008 SCCA Championship RoadRally Series will be held Saturday, August 9.
The Mountain Creek Classic rally will begin at Turner Park in Grand Prairie, and end at Joe Poole Lake Marina restaurant.
This year's course has some great country roads, and some challenging rally tests. This was last year's 2nd most popular event.
You can pre-register (and save $5) at http://www.dlbracing.com/clubs/texas...x?EventID=3553
For more information go to http://www.texasscca.org and click on Rally.
If three of you enter, you can form a team, and compete for the Team Trophy.
Keep tuned for other rallies in our series...including 2 sponsored rallies!

I did the rally from plano to texas motor speed way and yeah it was more fun then I thought it would be.....You take a lot of back roads that no one is on with a lot of turns and what not. You basically have to try not to get lost as well, but anyways it was fun so I am up for doing it again.

Yeah, Scott and I did this one last year, it was a lot of fun! From what Scott told me, though it's not the same as the one you guys did last time. But I do still have the instructions/directions from the last one if anyone wants me to forward them so you can have a look. I think I'm free that weekend so I'm in!

So far it looks like we have the start of a team:
1.ME
2.Tom (riley craven)
3.Scott (HYS987) maybe
4.Brian (thejew)
5.Angie (agcutie)
6. biggin55
7. snipergo
Teams are 3 cars so we could always make 2 teams if we get enough people. It would be cool to make it a big RX8 showing.
