I'm just curious if there are any other RX-8 owners who are experiencing over billing at the Merrilltown toll plaza.
A review of my statements since toll collection started in February showed over $50 in tolls in excess of the standard tolls. My transponder is working fine, but there seems to be a problem in proper axle detection. A few $4.05 tolls add up quickly when it's normally $0.68. This happens northbound and southbound. So far it's been limited to Merrilltown.
Bottom line, check your TxTag statements and make sure you're being charged the proper toll amounts.
